Women's Rights

Women's rigths are very similar to men's in their culture.

  • Israeli women have the right to vote.
  • Israeli women  have the rigth to buy, sell and own property.
  • Make their own contracts.
  • They have the right to be consulted with regard to their marriage.
  • Marital sex is regarded as the woman's right and no the man's
  • Women are protected by law from discrimination.

  6. Before this work group , I always had the impresion that Occidental countries were very strict according to women's rights It's about.
In this blog, quite a good material is presented for the sake of our general knowledge, including our prejudices about these kind of topics.

  7. This blog has changed my thinking greatly about rights and how women are treated in Israel. Give significant importance to women, quite the opposite of what one thinks and believes.

  9. To be honest I didn't know that women had so many rights compared to other countries. For me is great that the can have everything balanced. Women have rights and they also take care of their children and all that. We have to know that as the woman is the one that has children, she is the one that takes care of him or her more.

  11. Thanks to this article ,today I`ve learned something new, because always I thougth that israel was the same country the other countries in where women had to wear those veils ,to cover her body or asking permission to her husband for to do something they wanted to do , I had a lot of prejudices about that, but now I have already know that is not that way and that make me happy.

  12. I had a totally different idea about Israeli women`s role in the society!!! I thought they were less important in their country. As I could read here they have a lot of rights and they are respected by the society and men. It is very good read things like these because it make me happy to know that I was wrong and the women`s role in Israel is very important!

  14. I'm Too surprised with this article. I really thought that Israeli women were like a Syria women or something like that. It is interesting how they can keep the equal right for anybody inside the culture. Also I think that the fact to do their own things without asking men, is proof that they have "freewill" (as I said in Syrian women blog). I feel ... I don't know, It's really lovely how the women took their own place in the Israeli society. According to the political statements, I don't think it would be so important for a women or anybody, personally I think that politicals things are really bored and silly things that don't make me feel happy.. so I am not interesting in it .

Ps: It's a really interesting article. congratulations girls, it's a good job.

  15. As many of my partners, I’m very surprised too. It’s good to see that women have a good role in society, they are included in many aspects (but unfortunately in those that are important too, they are not considered). Maybe with time, they can fight to have these rights. It’s good when people make a contrast of societies and we can have a general idea of this country.

  16. I'm also extremly surprised with their culture. I realized that just by saying Eastern countries quickly comes the idea of "oppression". But this country has a fascinating politic which ought to be immitated for their neighbours countries.

  18. I´m very surprised about what the article says, I didn´t know too much about that kind of countries and I thought that women were treated badly but it seems that I was wrong. It makes me happy to know that women have many rights and they aren´t seen and treated as an inferior human being.

  21. It is strange in modern times that women prefer to dedicate to please their husbands and even more stranger they give more priority to their duties as wives and mothers because a woman can’t make many things for her if she is working inside the house, I really had a very different idea about Israeli women, this blog clarified me many doubts.
